Three to six months ahead gives the most freedom, especially for the dry season (June–October) and the December holidays. Shorter notice is often still possible — write to us and we will tell you honestly what can be arranged.

Yes. Many of the traditional dishes we serve already lean on vegetables, legumes, and grains — our cooks are used to building a full plant-based table around them.
Most journeys suit a wide range of ages and fitness levels, with gentle walks rather than strenuous hikes. Let us know of any specific concerns and we will flag anything worth considering for your route.
Yes. Every itinerary includes a private guide and vehicle, ground transfers, and park fees, alongside all meals, drinks, and fireside dinners.
Small by design. Each itinerary caps its guest count — typically between six and ten — so every table still feels like it was set for you specifically.
Often, yes. Several guests link two landscapes into one longer trip. Mention it in your enquiry and we will look at how the logistics and seasons line up.
A 30% deposit confirms your dates, with the balance due 60 days before departure. Custom itineraries follow the same structure once the final route is agreed.
Write to us as soon as you know. We hold no guest to fine print they were not walked through personally, and we will always look for the fairest path forward for both sides.
All pricing is shown in US dollars. Payment is accepted by card or bank transfer, and most lodges along the way accept both dollars and cards directly.

Check entry requirements for your nationality well ahead of departure. We're glad to point you toward the right resources once your itinerary is confirmed.
A yellow fever certificate is often required for entry or transit. We recommend a visit to a travel physician six weeks before you depart.
Neutral-toned layers for game drives, comfortable walking shoes for markets and terraces, and a reusable water bottle. We'll send a fuller list with your confirmation.
US dollars and cards are widely accepted at our lodges. Connectivity is intentionally light in the bush; consider that part of the menu, too.
