The Evening
Long before there were menus, there was a fire and someone who knew how to keep it. Embers brings that tradition into the city: a long table set beside a bed of coals, and Juma turning heritage cuts into the ember-roasted supper our whole company grew from.
Come as you are: alone, with a date, with six friends. By the second course you'll be passing platters to someone you met at the welcome pour. Fourteen seats, one fire, one evening you'll be retelling by Monday.

The Night, Hour by Hour
6:30 pm
Doors & the welcome pour
Arrive as the light drops. A botanical sundowner in hand, you'll find the fire already lit and Juma already at it.
7:15 pm
Sit down
Fourteen seats at one long table. Come with someone or come alone; by the first course you'll know your neighbours' names.
7:45 pm
Four courses by the fire
Each dish arrives with the story behind it: where the recipe comes from, who taught it, and why it's cooked over coals.
10:00 pm
Embers & a last pour
Tea, coffee and a closing digestif beside the dying fire. Nobody leaves early.
